Why?
The mysteries of the Universe lie tantalizingly close, taunting us to come and find them.
Space is the final frontier. It hides the mysteries of where we come from and where we are going. I have always been fascinated by space and find it weird that there are people that aren't. They complain about how space research does not help them in any way, but this blog is a step towards removing this misconception. Seventy years ago, no one would have imagined that you could simply dial a number and talk to anyone instantly. Communication and many other fields have transformed more in these seventy years of space than they had in the last 10,000 years of human existence. The idea that such revelations lie just at the edge of our understanding is what drives me and every person in this field. People often wonder what is the purpose of life and I think nothing says it better than the mission statement of the USS Enterprise:
To boldly go where no man has gone before!
